Welcome to our website
Welcome to jogscotland Stonehaven's homepage. Please use the links above to navigate the site.
We are a recreational jogging club which meets on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings outsite the community centre (Robert Street). We also run 'out and about' Stonehaven on Saturday mornings. See web pages for relevant details.
We are a non-competitive group aimed at helping people achieve basic levels of fitness and providing people with a safe, friendly and sociable environment to run in. Around Easter time each year we offer a beginner's courses (10 weeks) and this has proved to be an excellent starting point for many of our members.
If you think that this sounds ideal and would like to join then please contact Christine or David by email, providing your contact details, and we'll get right back to you.
Visitor's notice
Please take a look at our current routes to find safe, fun and accurate routes around the Stonehaven area. We also have a selection of our member's event photographs (which should give you some idea of the kind of mad people who actually find jogging fun!)
What our members think!
I joined Jogscotland Stonehaven in May 2004 having no experience in running. I was delighted with my steady progress, to feel healthier, fitter
and of course enjoy the social side of the group. There is nothing better to run in all weathers and all terrains. We have great leaders in Lynette and Gordon, who keep us very much informed and motivated.
I believe Jogscotland Stonehaven group is special and lives up to Jogscotland's 'Run, Succeed, Enjoy'.

I really miss the group when I can't manage to attend. Everyone encourages each other which is a great help, I never ever thought I would be able to run a 10k and I have now done 2 which I wouldn't have achieved if it wasn't for our group and the leaders.
